One sip and you instantly realize this is one to watch for years as it reveals all its layers. Loaded with ripe, structured bright berry and cherry flavors, the impressive fruit is enhanced by suggestions of black licorice, coffee bean, mocha and black tea, leading to firm yet rounded tannins that will support a long and glorious evolution in the cellar for years to come. While delicious and enjoyable now if decanted for a few hours, we suggest giving this full-bodied Merlot until Thanksgiving of 2023 to begin working through your prized stash.
