Quentin Blake is one of the best-loved storytellers in the world. Quentin was appointed the first UK Children's Laureate in 1999, was created CBE in 2005, and received a knighthood for 'services to illustration' in the New Year's Honours for 2013. Emma Chichester Clark studied at the Royal College of Art . She has worked as a freelancer for magazines, publishers and advertising agencies as well as teaching art for several years, but now dedicates most of her time to children's books.
